Instead of playing it safe this season why not do something a little different? A statement winter jacket is a great way to go bold without risking too much (or investing too heavily). And to make the most of this season's statement looks we've rounded up a few of our favourite finds including a few tips on how to wear them!

1 The Faux Fur Coat

Faux fur lovers will enjoy pairing this jacket with everything in their closet but if you are new to the trend you’ll find that simple pairings will make life easier. Think a classic black jumpsuit or dress worn with a matching shoulder bag and statement heel.

2 The Oversized Denim Jacket

A hit in summer is now a hit in winter. The oversized jacket looks great when paired with tailored pieces in that it strikes a nice balance between being oversized and showing off your shape. Simply pair with your favourite skinny jean and a fitted tee and you’re good to go.

3 The Leopard Print Jacket

A statement leopard print jacket is a sure-fire winner with black or white but for something a little bit different try pairing it with a mid-wash denim and grey turtleneck knit for a fun yet smart outfit combo.

4 The Satin Bomber Jacket

Satin tends to feel a little more formal which makes the bomber jacket a natural choice for a night-out look. We love the idea of mixing plain satin with a stripey black and white print to instantly give the look more of an edge. Ankle booties are a nice touch to finish.
